The QoC (Quick Opening Closure) is a mechanical device designed to allow quick and safe opening and closing of pressurized containers, pipelines, or filters. It consists of a bayonet, lever, or special bolting closure system that drastically reduces opening times compared to traditional systems with flanges and bolts. It is mainly used on filters, separators, pig launchers/receivers, tanks, and pressure vessels. It ensures excellent sealing even under critical pressure and temperature conditions and can be equipped with internal safety systems that prevent accidental opening under pressure. QoCs are built from carbon or stainless steel and are often certified according to international standards (ASME, PED, etc.). The adoption of this type of closure greatly improves operational efficiency, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
